Rand South Africa with a portrait of the colonizer

777 in the banknote number – what does numerology say?

My collection includes booms and coins in 2 ways: purposefully purchased (purchased) and brought from abroad as a souvenir when visiting the country (an alternative to magnets and other paraphernalia with the prospect of being thrown out).

In 1994. I was on a week-long business trip to South Africa (Johannesburg and sun city)-3 weeks before the parliamentary elections that brought the black majority ANC party led by Nelson Mandela to power. At this time, the apartheid regime was gradually losing ground, but its symbolism was still alive – both in the names of streets and characters of sculptural monuments, and in the design of banknotes.
In the history of English colonization of South Africa, in addition to the interests of England and the interests of the indigenous black population, an important role was played by the interests of immigrants of Dutch origin-Boers (boer), who clashed with the English crown for the right to exploit the Zulus, Ndebele, Xhosa and other Bantu-speaking tribes of southern Africa – the 1st (1880-1881) and 2nd (1899-1902) Anglo-Boer wars confirm this.

The South African Rand was born in 1961 as the currency of a new independent state – the Republic of South Africa, whose Constitution proclaimed the principles of racial segregation (apartheid), ensured the political power of the descendants of the Boers and the use of the Boer language-Afrikaans (a dialect of Dutch) as the official language.

Rand - from the Boer name of the Witwatersrand mountain range (White Water ridge). There, the Boers found gold in the XIX century, mining which they formed their national identity.
Whose portrait could the descendants of the Boers put on the first banknotes of their state?

Jan van Riebeek-Dutch by birth, the first Governor-General of the Cape colony, the founder of Cape town: descendants of the Boers call him the 'father of the nation'. It was van Riebeek who led a sea expedition of 3 sailboats belonging to the Dutch East India company, which established a Fort on the southern tip of Africa, which became the starting point for African colonization. It was he who sent the first military expeditions inland, bringing cattle and black indigenous people for use as slaves.

In 1978, the second series of South African banknotes was issued, also with Jan van Riebeek.
The third series was born in the mid-1990s, when the apartheid regime was a thing of the past, and the organizer of colonization van Riebeek no longer had a chance to appear on banknotes: his portrait was replaced by the big five African animals: rhinoceros (10 R), elephant (20 R), lion (50 R), Buffalo (100 R) and leopard (200 R).

Presumably, apolitical animals were seen as transitional figures from the apartheid regime to the new political system. And in 2012, when the fourth series of South African banknotes was released, the bills already had only one image-a portrait of Nelson Mandela, both on the front and on the back, and-in all denominations.
What can I say about the combination of ' 777 ' on my 5-Rand bill with van Riebeek?

Numerology promises the owners of the 'three sevens' good luck in everything: in relationships with people – sincerity and harmony, in creativity-developed intuition, in Finance-growth of assets and bright prospects for business projects.

Let the bill CJ8521777 with the colonizer of South Africa stay longer in my collection.
